Spanning approximately 10,400 m² of land, a vibrant residential quarter has been created in Königstein im Taunus, combining high-quality living with comprehensive local amenities. The last remaining flats are still available – some with views of Königstein Castle.
Hamburg, 03/03/2026 | It is complete: The "Königsteiner Höfe" at Ernst-Ludwig-Kirchner-Platz 1–11 have been completed, and the first residents are moving into their new homes. Quantum Immobilien KVG acquired the residential quarter as part of a forward deal for an institutional investor from Eberhard Horn Designgruppe and took possession in December 2025. In total, the sustainable quarter comprises 75 privately financed rental flats with approximately 7,300 m² of living space, complemented by around 4,300 m² of commercial space and 281 underground car parking spaces.
High-quality living – from apartments to penthouses
The 75 flats range from compact 2-room apartments from approximately 46 m² to generous penthouses of up to around 225 m² of rental space. All units feature balconies or terraces and are finished to a high standard. The car-free inner courtyard between the seven building sections provides children with a safe space to play and ensures a high quality of life right on the doorstep.
"With the Königsteiner Höfe, we have taken on a project that ideally combines sustainable construction, social responsibility and economic appeal. The quarter contributes to the positive urban development of Königstein and offers residents a high quality of life in a central location," says Arndt Buchwald, Managing Director of Quantum.
The residential units are complemented by commercial spaces that are already fully let. The organic supermarket Alnatura is expected to open in March 2026. In addition, a nursery, a dental practice, a longevity clinic, as well as a bistro and café are located directly within the quarter. These make the "Königsteiner Höfe" a place where living, shopping and working come together as a matter of course.
