Hamburg, 12/12/2025 | In Düsseldorf, renovation work on the DUO building is nearing completion as part of an extensive repositioning project to transform it into one of the city's most sustainable existing buildings and one of the most attractive office properties in the Grafenberg district. Three new tenants have already been found: Latz Piller Trenner Steuerberatungsgesellschaft mbH, Deutsche Energy Terminal GmbH and the perfumery company Douglas, which is expanding its leased space to include the tower. In total, around 3,500 m² of office space has been successfully let.
'The first third is done! In a challenging market environment, we have succeeded in attracting three users to the DUO Tower and securing them as long-term tenants. The design developed with the renowned architectural firm DJH, the quality of the materials and the flexibility of the workplace concepts were particularly convincing. The targeted LEED/DGNB double certification – both in Gold status – and the Wiredscore Gold award were also important,' says Arndt Buchwald, Managing Director of Quantum.
DUO Campus: A well-thought-out overall concept
The 60-metre-high DUO Tower is complemented by the adjacent eight-storey low-rise building. This has already been extensively revitalised in the past and is fully let to well-known tenants such as Douglas, Ubisoft, FrieslandCampina and Techniker Krankenkasse. Both parts of the building have a total lettable area of approximately 34,650 m².
Once the renovation is complete, exclusive amenities will enhance the campus atmosphere on site. 'An elaborately redesigned lobby, a bistro with outdoor seating, a roof terrace and a fitness area round off the amenities for all office tenants,' says Vinzenz Stamm, Asset Management Commercial at Quantum, adding: 'We have already found an operator for the in-house fitness area in HiddenGyms.'
Rental success across the board
The Global Gate office building, also located in the same district and managed by Quantum, is close to being fully let following the signing of two further long-term leases.
