Georgstor

Hamburg

In Hamburg’s St Georg district, close to the main railway station and overlooking the Alster, the “Georgstor” is a combined building complex comprising an elongated office wing with a comb-like structure at the rear along Steindamm, and a 20-storey tower slab containing a hotel. The end building directly next to Lohmühlenstraße underground station is home to the successful design hotel group “Motel One”, which opened one of its tallest hotels here, with a total of 464 rooms.
