The CENTRAL CROSS is being built on Friesenplatz in Cologne with state-of-the-art office and retail space on 12 floors. The revitalisation follows designs by kadawittfeldarchitektur, which proposed the climate-friendly use of the existing building instead of demolition.

A model of modern urban development is emerging in the Hamburg district ofOttensen (Altona district): Quantum is developing an urban quarter on the 2.5-hectare site of the former Euler-Hermes insurance company. More than 1,400 people will soon be living here. In addition to 460 apartments, offices, restaurants and a day-care will be built.

The Gerling Quarter in Cologne is an important listed ensemble from the era of the German economic miracle in the 1950s and 1960s. The office buildings of the so-called "Südspange" were built in the early 1960s according to the plans of architects F.H. Sobotka and G. Müller in collaboration with Arno Breker. The buildings are located in the centre of Cologne's trendy district in the street "Im Klapperhof" and the adjacent streets Hildeboldplatz and Spiesergasse
