# KÖ Galerie

 

### Düsseldorf

 

KÖ Galerie is centrally located in Düsseldorf’s city centre and forms the quarter between Königsallee, Grünstraße, Berliner Allee and Steinstraße. The building complex combines a shopping gallery with 17,400 sq m of retail space, approximately 30,000 sq m of office space, a hotel and a public underground car park.

On the ground floor, a retail arcade connects the various parts of the building. It can be accessed from Königsallee, Grünstraße and Steinstraße and is framed by a central atrium with a glass dome.

Since September 2024, Quantum has been responsible for the repositioning and revitalisation of KÖ Galerie – while operations continue and the existing building fabric is retained. The mandate also includes asset management and the letting of the entire complex.

    The redevelopment includes the conversion of vacant office space into modern workplaces, as well as the optimisation of the ground floor and the access points to the retail and office areas. In addition, targeted signage measures are being implemented to provide a clear wayfinding system and give KÖ Galerie a new, distinctive identity.

## KÖ Galerie is becom­ing greener

Landscaped terraces will help promote biodiversity. A mobility hub with bicycle parking is intended to further improve access to KÖ Galerie. Energy-efficiency upgrades include thermally insulated roofs, new façades and windows.
