Matthias Kath-Burdack will join the management of Quantum Immobilien KVG in August and take over the Operations and Legal departments. The 53-year-old comes from Swiss Life KVG.
Quantum Immobilien Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaft mbH announces a change in personnel. On August 1, Matthias Kath-Burdack will be appointed to the management board, succeeding Malte Priester. The KVG's management team will thus remain four-strong.
"We are delighted to have gained an expert in the real estate and fund industry like Matthias Kath-Burdack. With his experience in controlling and fund administration, he will be an excellent addition to our existing management team," says Philipp Schmitz-Morkramer, founder and board member of Quantum.
"I've already had the chance to get to know my future team - and I was immediately impressed. Now I'm looking forward to providing new impetus and picking up speed together," says Matthias Kath-Burdack.
Malte Priester will leave Quantum Immobilien KVG at his own request by November 30, 2024 at the latest in order to take on new professional challenges. "We would like to thank Malte Priester for his successful work at Quantum and wish him all the best for the future," adds Philipp Schmitz-Morkramer.

Since its founding in 1999, the independent Quantum Immobilien AG has stood for forward-looking project development, attractive institutional investment products and holistic management of real estate investments.
The project development business realises both its own projects and joint ventures as part of corporate investments – so far this has resulted in 80 properties with a total area of over 1,800,000 sqm. The transaction volume amounts to around €5.2 billion.
